Show Notes
The U.S. Surgeon General has just put out an advisory on the mental health & well-being of parents. In today’s show we will talk with Melissa Creighton from the Mobile County Health Department as we discuss the biggest stress factors for parents. And finally we will look at how parents can manage the stress that you feel everyday so that you can be the best version of you for your kids. Also, in the show notes you will be able to find the advisory put out by the Surgeon General as well as resources from the Mobile County Health Department.
Welcome to UNrattled where we learn together to shake off our past parenting mistakes so that we can be the best version of ourselves for our kids. My name is Austin Lee and I’m your host on this journey of becoming a better parent and today we are taking a look at the stress of being a parent and what the U.S. Surgeon General has to say about parents and increased stress that comes with parenting in this generation. Then we’ll dive into some ways you can manage the stress that comes from certain areas of your life. I’ll also be joined by co-host Jessica Stinson and my good friend Melissa Creightion from the MCHD.
